DAY 2, Tuesday - Arrive in Warsaw
Arrive in Warsaw, Poland's capital, and transfer to the hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Wednesday - Warsaw City Tour
This morning, take a city tour of Warsaw. Visit Lazienki Park, to view the Chopin Monument. Then, travel along the Royal Route with its historic monuments, and residences towards the Warsaw Ghetto. Stop at the inspiring memorial that commemorates the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. Walk through the cobbled streets of the Old Town to Market Square. View the Cathedral of St. John, and the Royal Castle. Balance of the day is at leisure or, join the optional tour to Wilanow Palace*. This former summer residence of the Polish kings was built at the end of the 17th century for King Jan Sobieski III*Be advised that you might not be able to book this optional tour locally, due to limited ticket availability.

DAY 4, Thursday - Full Day in Warsaw
Today is free to explore Warsaw on your own. Visit one of the many museums, stroll along the cobblestone streets of the Old Town with its quaint shops, or just unwind at a café in Market Square. Later in the afternoon, attend an optional Chopin Recital, a highlight of the day. A piano recital of Chopin's most favorite works is performed in a stunning setting. Enjoy a glass of champagne during intermission

DAY 5, Friday - Jasna Gora Monastery, Travel to Krakow
Depart Warsaw, and travel south to Czestochowa, to visit the famous Pauline monastery of Jasna Gora, home of the Black Madonna painting, a shrine to the Virgin Mary. Following the visit, continue to Krakow, a former residence of the Polish kings. The city, situated on the Vistula River, is known for its well preserved Old Town. Arrive, and check into the hotel. Tonight, perhaps join the optional festive dinner with a show of traditional Polish entertainment

DAY 6, Saturday - Krakow City Tour
Begin the day with a morning tour of medieval Krakow. Visit the historic 16th century Wawel Royal Castle District. Continue to the former Jewish quarter with its ancient synagogues, and man square. Proceed to the Old Town, and Market Square to view St. Mary's Church, and the Renaissance Cloth Hall. Perhaps, choose the optional tour to Auschwitz & Birkenau. This afternoon journey to the town of Oswiecim where the Nazis built Auschwitz, their largest concentration and death camp. After an introduction and historic film, the visit includes a guided tour of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp Museum. Stop at the former Birkenau Extermination Camp before returning to Krakow

DAY 7, Sunday - Full Day in Krakow
On your day at leisure, join the optional tour to the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The mine's historical importance, as well as the works of art carved into the walls by miners, have earned the Wieliczka Salt Mine a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. The tour takes you through three levels of underground galleries, and chambers. During tonight's reception, bid farewell to your Tour Manager
