DAY 2, Thursday - Arrive in Vienna
Arrive in Vienna, Austria's capital city and former center of the Habsburg Empire. Transfer independently to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure

DAY 3, Friday - Full Day in Vienna
Spend the day exploring imperial Vienna on you own or, choose the optional Half Day Vienna City Tour with Schonbrunn Palace Tour. The city tour begins at the famous Ringstrasse where you pass many popular tourist attractions, View the impressive Vienna State Opera, and the nearby Hofburg Palace, the former imperial palace of the Habsburg dynasty. Next, admire the imposing Parliament building, the striking City Hall, the Museum of Art History, and the Museum of Natural History. Then, head to Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the imperial family. Visit the opulent state-rooms, and stroll through the world-famous manicured gardens. Be sure to stop at a café to sample the famous Viennese sacher torte before returning to your hotel

DAY 4, Saturday - Full Day in Vienna
Today is at leisure. Perhaps, head to the Spanish Riding School, a traditional riding school for Lipizzan horses and watch the morning exercise of these legendary horses. Or, participate in the optional Half Day Seegrotte Hinterbruhl Tour. Begin with a scenic drive to the Vienna Woods for a visit to Heiligenkreuz Abbey, which was founded in 1133 by Saint Leopold III, and is still a monastery today. During the guided tour, view the medieval cloister, and burial place of the Babenbergs, the oldest dynasty in Austria. Afterwards, continue to Hinterbrühl lake grotto*, where you embark on a boat trip on the largest underground lake in Europe. Later, return back to Vienna*Temperatures in the grotto are around 48 F all year round, warm clothing is recommended.

DAY 5, Sunday - High-Speed Train to Prague
This morning, bid farewell to Vienna, and transfer on your own to the train station to board the high-speed train to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Upon arrival, make your way to the hotel, and spend the remainder of the day at leisure

DAY 6, Monday - Full Day in Prague
This morning, discover Prague, with its over 1000-year-old history and magnificent architecture. On the optional morning tour, travel by coach while learning the history of Prague and its famous neighborhoods (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town). Continue on foot to view the Prague Castle complex and the many historical buildings therein. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing river cruise with views of Charles Bridge, St. Vitus Cathedral, Petrin Hill and the National Theater, one of Prague's main cultural attractions. Continue with a pleasant walk through the Jewish Quarter to the Old Town Square where the tour ends. Perhaps, choose the optional Prague Hop On/Hop Off Tour - 2 Day Pass.
