Questions & Answers

Question: what is the difference between view and visit?

Visit - The coach will stop and you will visit a specific site. The entrance fee is included in the guided vacation. View - A brief stop and view a site from the outside. This is a great opportunity for you to take photos. See - The coach will drive by the site so that you can see it. Sightseeing tour - A Local Guide or Expert will accompany you on a tour of the town, city or site. Orientation tour - Places of interest will be identified, allowing you to then explore independently. 'Why not see' or 'perhaps enjoy' - These phrases refer to Optional Excursions not included in the guided vacation package, but are available from your Travel Director at a competitive and affordable price. Time to explore and discover – You will have free time on your own for independent sightseeing and discovering the city or town on your own. A day to relax – There are no planned activities, giving you time for Optional Excursions, independent sightseeing or simply relaxing and taking in the destination

In regards to weather, Ireland is a unique country in that it has something to offer during all seasons. If winter festivities interest you then travel in December, however if you wish for a nice cool spring breeze then May is recommended.

Wonderful trip and tour. Trafalgar is top notch. Will book again next time with Affordable Tours and Trafalgar!

Sally and Kieran, our Ireland tour guide and bus driver were wonderful!!!

Best of Ireland was another great trip with Trafalgar.

Everything was perfect, the tour guide Charles was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The people on the tour bus were friendly. I had an amazing trip and memories to treasure for a lifetime.

The tour was very interesting and everything went smoothly even if some of the hotels were not really 4 star-hotels like the one in Limerick. Thank you. Best Regards.

Hotels, except the last two, were a disappointment. As a USA citizen, we expected air and universally clean and up to date rooms.

The trip was what I expected my only complaint was the bathroom in Limerick and Galway hotels had mieldew.

The tour was everything I expected. The tour guide was superb and the bus driver was amazing. If someone wants to experience Ireland This trip will do it. But it is a busy trip. A first-time visitor to Ireland and seeking to get a feel for the whole country, this trip will do it.

Best tour director( Allie)we have experienced she was funny knowledgeable and highly organized.

The trip was great. Peter our tour director was knowledgeable, helpful, and always available to us. The excursions were really good into areas we wouldn't have done on our own. The "be our guest" experience was a tea in an 18th century manor with the owners of the manor and was amazing with freshly baked scones and clotted cream! I would recommend this tour to everyone.

It was a wonderful trip to Ireland. We had a great time with wonderful people.

My trip to Ireland was all I expected and MORE! Beautiful country, kind/polite people, clean and indeed the Emerald Isle! It was a dream come true. The tour was excellent!
