Travel to the medieval city of Kilkenny, home to the world's fastest field game. The ancient Celtic sport of hurling is over 3,000 years old and Ireland's national sport. Our tour guide took a group of 48 people from all over the world and from all kinds of backgrounds and made them feel like family as she entertained us with the history of her country. She even interjected personal stories that helped illustrate the impact of recent history on the average Irish citizen. Not only would I travel with Trafalgar again, but would try to have the same guide.
