The tour guide, Sayat, was exceptional. He was not only competent, courteous, patient, but also extremely knowledgeable (in history and background information for the sites we visited in Turkey). I would wish to have Sayat as a tour guide for any tour I take in the future. The bus driver, Homer, was also nice, competent, and a safe driver. Even a driver who took us from / to the airport and the hotel was punctual, competent, and went out of his way to help us through the airport. Gate1 is lucky to have all these competent people working for the company.

Our 13 day Gate 1 tour of Turkey was consistent with all the other Gate 1 tours we have booked through Affordable Tours. 5 Stars from start to finish. The staff and agents with Affordable Tours have been top notch ( especially Ellie and Christine.) We have never had a bad Gate 1 tour. Their choice of hotels, tour guides, tour buses, optional tours AND PRICES have always been excellent. In summery, you cannot go wrong in using Affordable Tours and Gate 1 for all your travel needs.

Great trip under a good guide who is professional, knowledgeable about the country and caring about the tourists' needs.I learned a lot about Turkey even though I had seen some parts of it before. The driver is also very careful and was able to evade reckless drivers. The guide managed members of the group who are not following the time schedule so we were pretty much on line with what needed to be done, including bathroom breaks.
