Questions & Answers

Question: What does LF mean on the itinerary?

It's a designation from Globus. LF stands for "Local Favorite", meaning the highlight you're going to experience is something locals enjoy to do.

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?

Each person is allowed one "check-in," and one "carry-on." Remember to take all valuables with you as "carry-on", because electronic equipment, cameras, laptops, jewelry, business documents and money are not covered by the airlines' liability, so always carry them aboard with you.

Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?

Airfare from your point of origin to and from the trip is not included in the land price.

Sixth trip with Globus and it did not disappoint.

There is a lot of walking involved on this trip including optional excursions and their were some people who were on our trip that we not physically able to walk on uneven ground or that many walking trips. Even getting in and out of the coach was a bit of a struggle for some. On some days we walked between 2.5 miles to 5.5 miles.

The local guides were sometimes hard to understand and walked so fast you could not see much and did not have time take pictures. The meals included with the tour were under par. At some hotels we had to wait two hours to get our suitcases and that was very inconvenient. The hotels we stayed in were very nice and offered great breakfasts.

This trip did exceed my expectations. It was busy from the moment I got to Warsaw, and moving forward, I got to see and feel the World War II theme throughout. The accommodations were excellent. The tour guide, Rudolf, kept us all on task. He was extremely knowledgeable and was very professional. I loved the way he personalized our journey with his own personal anecdotes and played music on the bus that was so relevant. He even provided a personal CD of the music that reflected local composers of the region. It was a fantastic and memorable trip. Grant provided all the information accurately before departure, including itinerary, airline tickets, with ample time for each of the connecting flights. Grant, Affordable Tours, did a fantastic job arranging this trip.

This was an exceptional experience. Derek was able to answer all of my questions prior to departure and even provided recommendations of food options. Our guide Pedro was the absolute best! He was attentive and paid attention to all of the details. His customer service was beyond approach. I would highly recommend using Derek with Affordable Tours and Pedro with Globus for the Iberian Discovery & Morocco.

Was a great trip! Local guides and Tour Director, Pedro were excellent. Food and hotels, top notch.

I had a great time on my recent trip(Iberian discovery with Morocco.Globus is great as well as the tour director and our friver.I look forward to travel again with the company.

This was our first bus tour and we found it to be more driven and hectic than we prefer. Future trip will be just the two of us with our usual focus of one major city and side trips.

Our escorted tour with Globus through Spain, Portugal and Morocco was a great experience for our entire family. It ran just as expected and the Tour Guide (Luis) as well as our driver (Pedro) always went the extra mile to try to make it into an absolute success. We are invited to continue planning our family trips with Globus.

Best vacation experience, meeting all expectations. From the booking process to each scheduled and optional tours, the best of everything! Thank you!

This tour was made exceptional because of our tour director Angel. He was very knowledgeable about the Spanish history, and because of his knowledge it made it very interesting. In addition, he had a great sense of humor and he was very kind and patient with every member of the group. He showed a lot of respect for other nationalities as well and never had a negative comment. He was able to keep the group on schedule and we were able to see a lot of sights without any pressure.

There were a few issues with a couple of our hotel rooms on this trip but overall the vacation was wonderful.

Everything went as advised on this tour. It is an ambitious itinerary which can be tiring but all in all we were pleased with everything.

Iberian vacation 2017 with Globus was a great trip. The trip guide was outstanding. Almost all of the local guides were as good. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Rooms were in better hotels than what we expected. This was a nice surprise. One hotel at the Hacienda Zorita outside Salmanca was a luxury spa hotel; very, very nice, and not expected. Two of the hotels had very firm beds, almost like a slab of wood. Generally very good. Breakfasts were all outstanding, but European coffee is different than U.S., and we understand that. Delightful food overall, but one or two of the group dinners were not as good as eating out on our own. We did both, and talked with guests that did both and it is a mixed bag. Guides were exceptionally knowledgable and we appreciated their insights.

There was a one-night stay in Morocco, and while it was a unique experience to see Tangier and northern Africa, this itinerary was not of the same quality as Spain and Portugal. The optional tour to the coast was just so-so. It was a long ride for just a walk through the old town and some street musicians. Tangier was charming in the market area but once on the streets, the people trying to sell you things were persistent and annoying.

We have done several tours abroad. The tour guide on this tour was the best we have ever traveled with.

Of all the hotels on this trip, Hotel Agumar was the worst in quality. It didn't match the price point of the package and other people in the group agreed. The best one was the Melia Torremolinos. It was the best combo of quality and location. My suggestion too is to include more in the base package and less on the optional to make it more valuable for more of the people.

Our tour through Globus to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco was a very good tour, and our tour director, was one of the best directors we have had on a tour. She is experienced, knowledgable, and well organized, as well as pleasant and personable. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful experience.

This was the first trip we ever made with Globus. It was a wonderful experience and we were delighted in seeing the countries we visited. Our tour guide has an excellent background in the history and geopgraphical areas, and has an engaging personality. She was most helpful in every way. One suggestion I would make: This was a very energetic tour with lots of walking and upstairs climbing. Perhaps this should be emphasised in your literature so that senior citizens, or persons with some physical diabilities would be aware of the obligations involved.
