Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Globus last minute hotel changes required the guest to re-vamp itinerary for free time and some hotels were not centrally located (also did not appear to be 4 or 5 star hotels) requiring much more transit time and research to try to see non-scheduled sights on their own. The air conditioning in our room did not work at the Grauer Bar Hotel; our room was above the bar, thus noisy and window did not totally shut. Same at Concorde Montparnasse but after hotel could not fix the A/C, moved us to a different room. Wi-fi on the Globus bus was sporadic and not always available; bathroom usage on the bus was limited. The 1st day in Rome and in Monaco, some tour activity should be included for the group; there was none. Tour Director seemed to focus/highlight the activities of the excursions and would have liked a little more tutorial on getting around on your own, i.e. hand out a map of each city, what's available from hotel staff, etc. for guests not focused on Globus excursions.
Meeting our group in Amsterdam on June 28, 2018 was Laura (not sure of spelling last name), resides in FL, USA, was a most knowledgeable, organized tour guide ever, kept close contact with us, clearly giving instructions on What, Where,nWhen, along with the most efficient coach driver EVER?! Vicenzo, from Italy! Drove with confidence, surety of destination and ability to get there, driving through unlikely traffic, without a mishap! Not when she left us in London, the next guide was a complete disaster! Not sure of anything! Even said she would have to Move On, leave three persons because we were there, had made a wrong turn because she took off fast without a point to meet. Delay of maybe 5 min!!! There said I've been with group for 1 hour, and you are driving me crazy!!! Shirley!!
It was fantastic!! We saw so many wonderful places in a very short time. The Tour Director (Laura) was awesome! She was a wealth of information. I would definitely recommend this trip to all my friends.
Couldn't have asked for better tour guide (Laura) or bus driver (Vincenzo). Tour guide in London was not very attentive to the needs of the group.
I had the pleasure of going on the European Tapestry tour this summer, and I had a fabulous experience! Our tour guide was a veritable fount of European history. Our bus driver was the BEST! I am already planning my next trip! I will definitely travel with Globus again!
The tour was everything I expected. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The accommodations were 4 star and conveniently located. I would definitely use this company again.
